Notable Achievements

The Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation (IISRI) at Deakin University is a leading entity within the SMC Society in IEEE Victoria. Many research projects and outcomes have been showcased in various media reports, which include:

HaptiScan: A haptically-enabled remote ultrasound System for medical practitioners to perform ultrasound procedures for patients in a remote location.

UMS: A Universal Motion Simulator that facilitates high-fidelity motion simulation and serves as a configurable robotic platform for training of ground, marine and aerial vehicle drivers/pilots. It is a result of decades of research and innovation endeavours at IISRI.
