The IEEE Victorian Section is proud to host and support the 2017 International Conference on Mechatronics 14-17 February 2017. This conference is unique and exciting for many reasons. However, one standout feature of this conference is amazing Victorian countryside, Gippsland.

This is a personal invitation to participate in the well-known IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics (IEEE-ICM 2017).
This international event is held every two years in a different place around the world. The next edition will be held in Gippsland, Australia. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of emerging Mechatronics technologies and for professional interactions.  Additionally, it serves as a conduit for channelling advanced technology to industry.

New and Final Submission Dates:

  1. Submission of Special Session Proposals: 15 July 2016
  2. Deadline for submission of full paper: 15 August 2016
  3. Notification of acceptance with electronic publication instruction: 1 November 2016
  4. Deadline for final manuscript: 1 December 2016

Contributed Papers: Prospective authors are invited to submit the full version of their manuscripts as a pdf format. A maximum of 6 pages in the standard ICM format is allowed for each paper, including figures, tables and references. Detailed instructions for paper submission are available on the conference website. Special Sessions: The conference will feature Special Sessions on new topics and innovative applications. These sessions will consist of 5-6 articles and undergo a regular review process by the session organizer(s). Prospective organizers should refer to the instruction on submitting a proposal for a special session in the conference website (http://ieee-icm2017.org/sessions.php) which include the proposal template.

Good quality papers would be considered for publication in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics or IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (depends on the scope), subject to satisfactory further reviews.
