Abstract:
The dinner & social event is being run to celebrate the IEEE 125th anniversary in April 2009. The event will bring together students with graduates and young professionals. We have invited a speaker from the industry to discuss the industry as relevant to young engineers. We will also recognise recent IEEE graduates through the Student Transition & Elevation Partnership (STEP) program.
Cost: Free (70 places only - EVENT FULL)

Presenter(s):
Robert Slaviero is the Managing Director of Analog Devices Australia (ADA), a high-tech electronics engineering company specializing in the development of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software used in telecommunications and multimedia products and licensed by over 500 companies around the world. Robert has been with ADA (formerly Signal Processing Associates) since 1990 and is responsible for corporate and general management, strategic planning, business, financial, commercial, legal, licensing, intellectual property, HR and administrative issues. He has academic qualifications in engineering, business and law.
