The First Fifty Years Were OK – dealing with experiences in his long career

June 27 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

From schoolboy experimenter to Manager of Engineering; from environmental testing to computer design synthesis; from factory floor to classroom and blackboard; from microamperes to kiloamperes (and return); from thermionic vacuum tubes to VLSI and SMD; it’s been quite an interesting journey! In this broad-ranging overview, Tony Gasgoigne will describe selected aspects of his professional experience since graduating in the early 1960s, including organisations worked for,
positions held, projects undertaken, climates survived in, and (most importantly) people met and encountered!
