Near-field fashion finger-nail workshop

September 6, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

IEEE Victorian Women-in-Engineering and AP-MTT Chapter : Near-field devices are finding many uses today and a more interesting one is the use of these in fashion. We have places for 12 people at an upcoming maker-workshop on near-field communications. The workshop will introduce what near-field communications is about, allow you to see how an Arduino-based near-field reader works and to create your very own near-field finger-nails that light up and talk to the readers.

The workshop is free and family members or a family team is welcome.

To register your interest please email Fatemeh Jalali (f.jalali.2012@ieee.org), Nalika Doina (nalika.n.d@ieee.org) and Enn Vinnal (e.vinnal@ieee.org) and please put “Near-field finger nail maker-workshop” in the subject line.
