MTTS/APS, Victoria Travel Award

Hing Kiu Kan was born in Taveuni, Fiji Island. He received his B.Eng with honours from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia in 1999. He is currently completing his Ph.D at the same university. He has been awarded the MTT/AP-S IEEE Victorian Section Travel Award to present at the 2001 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference in Taipei on a paper entitled, "Investigation of shorted spiral printed antennas for mobile handsets".
