ANZSCON'2010 is hosted by IEEE Victorian Section with the support of IEEE Australia Council
Thanks for registering! See you in Melbourne!
This initiative is unprecedented for Australia and New Zealand, but it will take inspiration from similar events run elsewhere around the world. It is targeted at all Australian and New Zealand student members. The objectives of this congress include:
- To bring students and GOLD members from all Australian and New Zealand Sections together, to expand their networks and to share ideas
- To introduce and discuss the paths in employment and further study available to students after graduation
- To raise awareness of global IEEE student member benefits
- To strengthen links in GOLD and student activities throughout Australia and New Zealand
- For IEEE volunteers, to exchange and discuss ideas and practices for running Student Branches, with particular reference to the unique context in Australia and New Zealand
The three-day Congress will consist of leadership talks, technical sessions, poster sessions, guest lecturers and career workshops.
Participants will discuss ideas on how to run events, social gatherings and recruiting new members. It will allow students to build career pathways after graduation.
